The Chevy Chase 968 Reservoir lies under 3 feet of earth and turf in the eastern portion of Chevy Chase Country Club Golf Course. The buried, 21 foot deep concrete reservoir was built in the late 1920’s and has a capacity of 14.5 million gallons of water.

The site proposed project is located on the west side of Chevy Chase Drive, just north of Linda Vista Road. The proposed project consists of the demolition and reconstruction of the Chevy Chase 968 Reservoir replacement of the booster pump station, and construction of a new access driveway to the pump station.

The Chevy Chase 968 Reservoir project is part of a Glendale Water & Power multi-year citywide water system rehabilitation and replacement project. Glendale Water & Power apologizes for any inconvenience this project may cause. We appreciate your patience during the entire process. GWP will make every effort to minimize any impact on the surrounding community.
